We love dogs here at Le Moulin Pensol, and so all of our gites are dog friendly. This means that you can bring your four-legged companion(s) with you on holiday, so that they can enjoy the time away as well.
Why take your dog on holiday with you? Iedereen die ooit in een paar geliefde bruine ogen heeft moeten kijken en vervolgens weg moest lopen terwijl je ze achterliet in kennels, hoeft die vraag niet te stellen!
Le Moulin de Pensol is the perfect place to bring your dog on holiday. We have over 7 hectares of grounds to explore with your best friend, plus miles of dog friendly walks and trails on the doorstep, allowing you to explore the most popular dog friendly trails in Haute-Vienne.
Security of your pet is paramount, so we have construct rustic, wooden fences on-site, to give each gite a self-contained garden area and a gate (NB with the exception of Le Moulin gite).
Dit is ook uitstekend geschikt voor niet-hondenbezitters die misschien niet willen dat hun avondaperitief gestoord wordt door de komst van de hond van iemand anders.
The floors are easy to clean tiles and we have a relaxed attitude to dogs upstairs. We just ask that if your dog insists on sitting on the furniture with you, that you bring some extra covers and try to keep pawprints and hair to a minimum. We don’t charge a damage deposit and the 10€ per night per dog surcharge is to cover extra cleaning costs.
Guests are welcome to bring up to 2 well behaved dogs per gite booking. The price is €10 per dog per night. Please keep them on a lead while on site and of course, clear up any little presents they might leave.
We ask that dogs are not left unattended in the gîtes at any time or for any reason.
Your canine companions aren’t the only pets who can visit our gîtes. Cats are also permitted to stay with you too.
Basically, the same rules and pricing that apply to dogs staying with you in our gîtes also apply to your feline friends as well with the additional that we insist that cats be kept indoors at all times. Please do not let them out. Our dogs are not cat-lovers, and we wouldn’t want your pet to stray or have any sort of a mishap. Please bring your own litter tray.
