Châtaignier – Een charmante familievakantiebungalow met drie slaapkamers op het platteland van Limousin.
Châtaignier is a characterful three-bedroom gîte, particularly well suited to two adults and two children, set within the peaceful grounds of Le Moulin de Pensol, an eight-hectare rewilding project in the beautiful Périgord-Limousin countryside.
Part of a traditional terrace of adjoining gîtes, Châtaignier has its own private entrance and outdoor terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. Guests also have access to eight hectares of rewilded, nature-rich gardens and grounds, shared with those staying in the neighbouring gîtes.
The ground floor offers a comfortable living and dining area with a well-equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, and a television and extra toilet.
Upstairs are three bedrooms and a shared shower room. Two bedrooms have attractive but small French double beds. Although Châtaignier can accommodate up to six people, we recommend it for a family of four, as space is more limited at full occupancy. **Please note that the stairs make the gîte unsuitable for guests with significant mobility difficulties.**
The River Bandiat flows through the grounds, which include meadows, woodland and ponds rich in butterflies, birds and other wildlife. Walking and cycling routes are accessible directly from the property.
Free Wi-Fi and parking are provided. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, and baby equipment is available on request.
Châtaignier is an excellent base for families who enjoy wildlife, walking and exploring the countryside together.
Let op: de drie slaapkamers bieden plaats aan maximaal zes personen in tweepersoonsbedden. Châtaignier is ideaal voor een gezin van vier personen. Gasten die comfortabel met zes volwassenen willen slapen, kunnen beter onze grotere gîte Le Moulin overwegen.
